Natural Gas Office of Competitive Market Oversight (OCMO)

After review of the SEARCH Report, the Commission found that it was in the public interest to establish the creation of an Office of Competitive Market Oversight (OCMO) to oversee competition in the retail natural gas supply market. The OCMO promotes the development of the competitive retail natural gas market. The Office also facilitates the resolution of disputes between natural distribution companies (NGDCs) and natural gas suppliers (NGSs) and provides a forum for informally addressing obstacles faced by NGSs in participating in the retail market.

Issues that NGSs wish to have considered for mediation by the OCMO should be sent to ra-OCMO@pa.gov.
