Natural Gas Retail Markets Investigation

By order entered on September 12, 2013, the Commission launched this statewide investigation with the goal of receiving recommendations for improvements to ensure that a properly functioning and workable competitive retail natural gas market exists in Pennsylvania.

Phase One

The first phase of the investigation will include an assessment regarding whether effective competition exists in Pennsylvania’s current retail natural gas market. Additionally, recommended improvements will be provided, if needed, to ensure that a properly functioning and workable competitive retail natural gas market exists in Pennsylvania.
