PUC Fines Delaware County Airport Transfer Company $1300

Published on 6/3/2010

HARRISBURG –The Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC) today ordered Trinity Limo, Inc. to pay a $1,300 fine for violations of the Public Utility Code.

The Commission voted 4-0 to fine the company after Trinity failed to respond to the complaint that it permitted its drivers to operate without first obtaining a criminal history record; and that a Trinity airport transfer bus was missing the company name and certificate number as required under the Public Utility Code.

Trinity Limo Inc of 20 Wolfenden Ave, Collingdale, Delaware County, operates an airport shuttle service to the Philadelphia airport.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission balances the needs of consumers and utilities to ensure safe and reliable utility service at reasonable rates; protect the public interest; educate consumers to make independent and informed utility choices; further economic development; and foster new technologies and competitive markets in an environmentally sound manner.
