PUC Approves Rate Increase for Columbia County Water Co.

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today voted to approve an annual increase in rates for Wonderview Water Co., Columbia County.

The Commission voted 5-0 to approve the increase in annual rates of $21,025 (32.5 percent).  The average annual bill for residential customers using approximately 53,000 gallons a year will increase $138.24 from $425.40 to $563.64 (32.5 percent).

Wonderview provides service to 152 customers in Wonderview Development in Main and Catawissa townships, Columbia County.  More information on the ratemaking process is available on the Commission’s website.
