PUC Fines Dauphin County Transportation Co. $1,000 for Violations

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today voted to fine Harrisburg City Cabs Inc. $1,000 for violations of the Public Utility Code and Commission regulations as part of a settlement with the Commission. 

The Commission voted 5-0 to fine the company $1,000 as a result of a formal complaint filed against the company for failing to provide requested drivers’ log sheets to a PUC enforcement officer, which is considered a violation of Commission regulations. 

Harrisburg City Cabs Inc. is authorized to operate as a common carrier in Dauphin County.
