PUC Approves Rate Increase for Templeton Water Company

HARRISBURG –The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today approved a rate increase for Templeton Water Co., Armstrong County.

The Commission voted 5-0 approve an increase in annual rates of approximately $18,365 (50 percent). As a result, the average annual bill for residents will increase from $234.28 to $351.36 (50 percent). 

The company provides water service to 147 customers in the Village of Templeton, Pine Township, Armstrong County. The company’s last rate increase was filed in 2009.
