Joseph Dudick Jr. Appointed to PUC Consumer Advisory Council

    HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has approved the appointment of Harrisburg resident Joseph Dudick Jr. to its Consumer Advisory Council.

    Mr. Dudick currently serves as executive director of the Pennsylvania Rural Development Council and as Governor Tom Ridge’s rural affairs advisor. He is also a member of the PUC’s Council on Electric Choice and the Telecommunications Universal Service Task Force.

    He formerly served as director of public affairs for the Allegheny Electric Cooperative and executive director of the Great Lakes Electric Consumers Association. Mr. Dudick is a member of numerous professional affiliations and a graduate of Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa.

    The Consumer Advisory Council represents the public in advising PUC commissioners on matters relating to the protection of consumer interests which fall under the jurisdiction of the PUC. Council meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month and are open to the public.
