HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today approved a settlement that fines Corporate Sedan Service of Pittsburgh $1,750 for violations of the Public Utility Code and Commission regulations.

According to the settlement, Corporate Sedan Service failed to charge rates in accordance to its tariff on file with the Commission; complete trip sheets; and prepare and retain a proper lease. The company does not contest the allegations and agreed to a $1,750 fine.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission balances the needs of consumers and utilities to ensure safe and reliable utility service at reasonable rates; protect the public interest; educate consumers to make independent and informed utility choices; further economic development; and foster new technologies and competitive markets in an environmentally sound manner.
