PUC Fines Somerset County Transportation Service for Violations

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today fined Stylin’ Limousine Inc. $1,050 for violations of the Public Utility Code and Commission regulations.  

The Commission voted 5-0 to fine the company and cancel their certificate to operate in Pennsylvania for violations including permitting its vehicle to be operated while under suspension and for failing to retain a completed driver trip sheet.

Stylin’ Limousine Inc. provided passenger services between points in Somerset County.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission balances the needs of consumers and utilities to ensure safe and reliable utility service at reasonable rates; protect the public interest; educate consumers to make independent and informed utility choices; further economic development; and foster new technologies and competitive markets in an environmentally sound manner.
