PUC Appoints Harry S. Geller, Esquire, to its Consumer Advisory Council

    Harrisburg, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has approved the appointment of Harry S. Geller, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Law Project, to its Consumer Advisory Council.

    The Pennsylvania Law Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to representing low-income individuals in utility and energy matters. Geller also Chairs the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Advisory Committee, the Electric Restructuring Low-Income Work Group and the PUC’s Electric Restructuring Universal Service Work Group.

    The Consumer Advisory Council represents the public in advising the PUC Commissioners on matters relating to the protection of consumer interests which are under the jurisdiction of the PUC. Members also serve as a source of information and advice for the Commissioners. Council meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month and are open to the public.
