HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today approved plans filed by the state Department of Transportation to replace the bridge where State Route 1015 crosses above the track owned by CSX Transportation, Inc. in Donegal Township, Butler County.

The existing bridge was built in 1926 and is wide enough for only one traffic lane. The new bridge will support two traffic lanes.

Federal and state funds will cover the estimated $1.2 million cost of the project, which is to be completed by December 31, 2000.
