PUC Approves A & G Taxi Fare Increase

HARRISBURG, Pa. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission Wednesday authorized A & G Taxi to increase its first-mile fare by 60 cents, effective November 30, 2000.
Fares will increase from $2.70 to $3.30 for the initial mile. Each additional 1/7 fraction of a mile will increase from 20 cents to 30 cents. The company said the increase is expected to generate an additional $18,035 in revenue and is needed to continue full coverage of service. Current rates have been in effect since 1991.
A & G Taxi provides service in the borough of Bristol, and in the townships of Bristol and Bensalem, Bucks County.
