PUC Approves Expansion of Taxi Service in Plymouth, Luzerne County

HARRISBURG, Pa. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has approved the application of Plymouth Taxi to expand taxi service to include the borough of Plymouth, Luzerne County, and 10 miles beyond the borough limits.
The PUC received 25 statements of support from individuals and businesses saying that the expansion of passenger transportation service will meet their needs. Plymouth Taxi currently serves the borough of Larksville and the township of Plymouth.
Plymouth Taxi can begin to provide service after filing an acceptable tariff.
