PUC Chairman Glen Thomas to Participate on Panel in New Jersey on ‘Energy Deregulation and its Effect on Business’

Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) Chairman Glen R. Thomas will participate in a panel discussion on "Energy Deregulation and its Effect on Business" at the 30th annual Saint Peter’s College Board of Regents Business Symposium, at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Saint Peter’s College, Dinneen Hall, 2641 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, New Jersey.

The panel will discuss such topics as America’s energy challenges; energy efficiency and conservation; and modernizing energy infrastructure.

Chairman Thomas will highlight the success of Electric Choice in Pennsylvania, which is the No. 1 electric-competition program in the nation, as well as projected lower energy costs for consumers this winter.
