PUC Chairman Thomas to Welcome National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners to Philadelphia for 113th Annual Convention

Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) Chairman Glen R. Thomas will give welcoming remarks at the opening session of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners’ (NARUC) 113th Annual Meeting, at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, in the NARUC General Session room, Salon E, Philadelphia Marriott Hotel, 1201 Market St., Philadelphia.

Chairman Thomas will welcome the nation’s state utility commissioners and their staffs to the annual convention -- as well as other state officials, and industry and consumer-group representatives. The convention begins Sunday, Nov. 11, and ends Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Chairman Thomas also will briefly discuss security of critical infrastructure and electric competition, two topics that will be discussed by the nation’s state utility commissioners during the NARUC convention.
