Public Input Hearing Set for Pennsylvania-American and Thames Water Merger

HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has scheduled a hearing to receive public comment on the request of Pennsylvania American Water Company and Thames Water Aqua Holdings to merge.
Administrative Law Judge Wayne L. Weismandel will conduct a hearing in:
- Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County, on Wednesday, April 24, at 1 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m., at Kings College, Burke Auditorium, McGowan Building, North River and West Union streets.
Customer testimony will become part of the record on which the PUC will base its decision in the case.
This is a joint application of Pennsylvania American and Thames Water Aqua Holdings for approval for a change in control of Pennsylvania American Water Company.
