HARRISBURG -- The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today granted two licenses to taxicab companies in Dauphin and Susquehanna counties.

Endless Mountain Taxi, located in Montrose, Susquehanna County, will provide service countywide. The PUC received eight supporting statements from individuals saying that the expansion of passenger transportation service would meet their needs.

Harrisburg-based Keystone Cab Service will provide service in Dauphin County. The PUC received 32 supporting statements from individuals saying there was a need for passenger transportation service in the proposed service area.

Both Endless Mountain Taxi and Keystone Cab Service can begin service after filing an acceptable tariff and insurance certificate with the PUC.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ensures safe, reliable and reasonably priced electric, natural gas, water, telephone and transportation service for Pennsylvania consumers, by regulating public utilities and by serving as responsible stewards of competition.
