PUC to Launch Utility Choice Consumer-Education Campaign with Multi-Media Demonstration, Live Re-Enactment of New TV Ads

Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) Chairman Glen R. Thomas and Commissioner Aaron Wilson Jr. will join members of the Council for Utility Choice to launch a new Local Telephone Choice multi-media consumer-education campaign for the Philadelphia Region on Tuesday, Nov. 19. They will unveil new TV ads that will begin airing Tuesday in the Philadelphia media market and debut a first-in-the-nation Web-based shopping information tool.

The launch event and news conference will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Prince Music Theater, 1412 Chestnut St., on the Avenue of the Arts.
