Monthly Remittance and Annual Reporting by Telcos
The Commission established a schedule for all Local Exchange Carriers to file tracking reports so that TRS surcharge revenue collection data may be effectively monitored and evaluated.
2025 Annual Tracking Report - PDF
An annual reporting that all local exchange carriers must file that summarizes the amount of TRS surcharges that were collected per month. This is required by 52 Pa Code§ 69.513. Due by March 31, 2024. The Annual Tracking Report should be mailed to or eFiled with the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, at 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Any questions regarding the report may be directed to the Bureau of Audits at (412) 423-9301.
Annual Access Line Summary Reports
2025 TRS Annual Access Line Report - An annual reporting that all local exchange carriers must file that summarizes the amount of access lines the company had in service each year. Attachment A is included in this Excel Form. This is required by 52 Pa. Code § 63.37.
Must be submitted to the Commission by March 1 of each year. All LECs should file a hard copy of the report with the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission at: 400 North Street, Harrisburg PA 17120. An electronic copy of the report should be emailed to RA-PC-TRS-ACC-LINES@pa.gov. Any questions regarding the reports may be directed to Spencer Nahf at (717) 787-5164 or snahf@pa.gov.
