TENANTS REFUSED TO LEAVE AND EVICTION PROCEEDINGS WERE INITIATED. THEN MS ZUKOWSKI INFORMED DUQUESNE LIGHT OF FOREIGN WIRING. SHE WAS NOTIFIED BY DUQUESNE OF THE PROBLEM AND DROVE TO PITTSBURGH TO DEAL WITH THE SITUATION. SHE HAD THE ELECTRICITY PUT IN HER NAME THEN. THEN SHE RECEIVED A BILL FOR OVER $600. SHE WANTS THE PUC TO CONSIDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND THE EVOLVEMENT OF THE SITUATION. SHE FEELS THAT THE TENANTS INVOLVED USED THE FOREIGN WIRING AS A WEAPON TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THE APT. WITHOUT ANY PAYMENT OF RENT OR ELECTRICITY. SHE FEELS THAT THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PARTIAL PAYMENT OF THIS BILL.

C-00003762 Closed 6/14/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES ACCORDING TO DUQUESNE LIGHT RECORDS TEN TIMES IN THE LAST TWO YEARS THEY HAVE LOST ELECTRICAL POWER FOR VARIOUS REASONS. ON THE LARGE MAJORITY OF THOSE OCCASIONS, THE RESIDENTS OF WILLOW DRIVE, ACROSS THE STREET FROM US, WASHINGTON DRIVE ONE BLOCK DOWN AND THE STREET DIRECTLY BEHIND US CONTINUED TO HAVE POWER WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. THEY SIMPLY WANT DUQUESNE TO BRING THEIR SERVICE UP TO THE SAME LEVEL AS THAT OF THEIR NEIGHBORS.

HE WANTS AN INVESTIGATION FURTHER INTO THIS PROBLEM.

HE WANTS IN WRITING FROM DUQUESNE WHY THEY FEEL THEY SHOULD NOT ABIDE BY ORDER.

C-00003822 Closed 6/28/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES DESPITE THE FACT THAT WEST PENN LINES ARE ON HIS PARCEL, DUQUESNE LIGHT INSISTS ON SERVING SAID PARCEL. HE GAVE DUQUESNE LIGHT (41) NEW CUSTOMERS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SAUNDERS STATION ROAD AND HAVE ONLY (1) HOME ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ROAD. SINCE WEST PENN HAS SERVED THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR 70 YEARS, COMMON SENSE AND PRICE OF POWER IS A COMMON SENSE ISSUE. HE STATES IT IS A HONOR THAT DUQUESNE LIGHT HONORS ITS WORD AND ALLOWS THE SOUTH SIDE TO BE SERVED BY PRE-EXISTING WEST PENN POWER CO.

SHE WANTS THE INITIAL AMOUNT TO BE LOWERED OF $350 BY 7/24/00. SHE STATES SHE CAN'T COME UP WITH THIS MONEY.
C-00003897 Closed 7/12/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES SHE NEEDS HELP WITH DUQUESNE LIGHT COMPANY, EVERYONE TELLS HER THAT SHE MAKES TOO MUCH. WHEN SHE DOESN'T EVEN MAKE ENOUGH TO SUPPORT HER DAUGHTER. SHE MAKES $7.00 A HOUR WORKING 38 - 40 HOURS A WEEK. SHE WOUL D LIKE TO GET BILL REDUCED (TO SOMETHING VERY LITTLE A MONTH).

SHE STATES THE PUC SHOULD BE AWARE OF HER MONTHLY RATE OR AMOUNT REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN SERVICES MONTHLY WITH THE AMOUNT SHE TAKES HOME.

STARTING 8/1/00 MOTHERAL INC HAS ENTERED IN A LONG TERM LEASE FOR THE ENTIRE BUILDING WITH CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY TO HOUSE STUDENTS. THE LEASE IS A NET LEASE WITH MOTHERAL INC PAYING FOR ALL THE UTI- LITIES. PRESENTLY THESE ARE (28) SEPARATE ELECTRIC METERS FOR THE INDIVIDUAL APARTMENTS, HE STATES IT WOULD BE MORE CONVENIENCE AND MORE ECONOMICAL TO HAVE ONE ELECTRIC METER. HE STATES HE HAS WRITTEN TO DUQUESNE LIGHT THE ELEC TRIC PROVIDER, REQUESTING THE CHANGE, BUT DUQUESNE LIGHT CAN'T PROCEED WITH- OUT A WAIVER FROM THE PUC. HE IS REQUESTING THE WAIVER TO ALLOW ONE MAIN ELECTRIC METER TO BE INSTALLED AT THE SHADY OAK APARTMENT BUILDING.

THIS ACCORDING TO DUQUESNE LIGHT COMPANY WAS DONE ON OR BEFORE 11/23/32. WEBB STREET WAS VACATED ON 6/22/34. THE UTILITY POLES REMAINED IN VIOLATION OF REASONABLE ACCESS TO THE RIGHT-OF-WAY TO ALVIN DRIVE AND EASEMENT REPLACING WEBB STREET. DUQUESNE LIGHT HAS NOT PROVIDED ANY RECORD OF HAVING ACQUIRED THE REQUIRED PERMISSION FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO PLACE THE UTILITY POLES IN THE RIGHT-OF- WAY SUCH TO HINDER ACCESS TO THAT RIGHT-OF-WAY. HE FEELS THAT DUQUENSE LIGHT COMPANY PLACED THESE POLES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHOUT REGARD TO THE PROPER PLACEMENT AND CONSIDERATION OF ANY FUTURE CONSTRUCTION OR USE OF WEBB STREET. HE WANTS DUQUESNE LIGHT COMPANY TO PLACE THE POLES IN AN AREA TO THE SIDE OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.

SHE NEEDS HER SERVICE ON TODAY, SINCE THEY TERMINATED SERVICE 24 HOURS BEFORE THE DUE DATE OF HER BILL.
