THE EXISTING SERVICE WENT UNDERGROUND FROM HOUSE TO POLE IN YARD THEN IN AIR TO PP&L POLE ON ROAD. HE STATES IT HAD BEEN THIS WAY FOR 45 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEM. PP&L CAME AND SAID THEY COULD ESTABLISH NEW SERVICE IN SAME MANNER, BUT AFTER TRENCH WAS DUG AND ELECTRICIANS WERE THERE TO DO WORK, PP&L REFUSED TO USE EXISTING POLE IN YARD. THEREFORE THEY WERE FORCED TO DIG THE TRENCH 100 FEET FROM POLE IN THE YARD, TO THE POLE ON ROAD. A SHORT TIME LATER, HE LEARNED THAT THE POLE IN THE YARD SHOULD HAVE BEEN ACCPETABLE. HE WANTS PP&L TO REIMBURSE HIM FOR ADDED EXPENSE OF DIGGING TRENCH FROM EXISTING POLE IN YARD TO POLE ON ROAD.
