ALL THAT HE WANTS IS AN ANSWER AS TO WHY HIS BILL IS SO HIGH SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE FOR NO REASON.
C-00003976 Closed 7/31/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES FOR OVER SIX MONTHS, THEIR ELECTRIC BILL INCLUDED A "TRAN- SITION" CHARGE, ALMOST DOUBLING THE BILL EACH MONTH. THEY CONTACTED THE COM- PANY AND WAS TOLD THAT THE COST WAS TO MAKE UP A DEFICIT THAT THE COMPANY HAD TO CHARGED TO STAY IN BUSINESS AND NOT CAUSE A DEFICIT TO SHAREHOLDERS. THEY REPORTED THAT THIS CHARGE WAS ALLOWED BY THE PUC. THEY STATE THAT ELECTRIC CHARGES WERE REASONABLE WHEN ENERGY PLUS WAS AVAILABLE; IT CLIMBED WHEN THAT WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THEY WANT THE PUC TO INVESTIGATE THIS UNFAIR CHARGE AND STOP IT. AND IF POSSIBLE THEY WANT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE FEES THAT THEY HAVE BEEN FORCED TO PAY OVER THE LAST MONTHS.
Z-00682246 Closed 12/17/1999 COMPLAINANT STATES FOR MONTHS SHE HAS BEEN TRYING TO SET UP PAYMENTS OF $50 OVER HER MONTHLY PAYMENT. NOW PP&L WANTS $97 & $50 PER MONTH. STATES SHE CAN'T DO THIS BECAUSE NOW SHE HAS HEATING COSTS. ALL SHE WANTS IS FOR PP&L TO ACCEPT HER MONTHLY BILL PLUS $50 PER MONTH.
