SHE STATES THE PLAN AGREED TO PAY $100.00 ON 9/11/01 BUT SHE WAS NOT RELEASED FROM JAIL TILL 9/6/01 AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO COME UP WITH $100.00 IN A WEEK WITHOUT A JOB. SHE STATES SHE NOW HAS A JOB AND CAN PAY $100.00 BY OCT 15, 2001 THEN PAY HER REGULAR BILL PLUS $10.00 AND ON THE 30TH OF EVERY MONTH SHE WOULD BE ABLE TO PAY $50.00 TILL THIS HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL.
C-20016210 Closed 9/19/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES HE WAS RENTING A APARTMENT FOR 7 MONTHS AND DURING THE SEVEN MONTHS HE ENDED UP PAYING THE ELECTRIC FOR TWO APARTMENTS. HE STATES THERE WERE TWO APARTMENTS AND ONLY 1 METER SO HE WAS BEING CHARGED FOR BOTH APARTMENTS. HE STATES HE WANTS REIMBURSED FOR THE ELECTRIC HE WAS CHARGED THAT WAS FOR THE OTHER APARTMENT. THEY NOW WANT THE RESTAURANT TO PAY $6,139.90 IMMEDIATELY AND WILL NOT ACCEPT HER TWO YEAR PAYMENT OFFER OF $255 PER MONTH. THE PARTNERS AT BOCELLI'S FEEL THEY SHOULD BE GIVEN CONSIDERATION ON PAYMENT TERMS THEY HAVE OFFERED. SHE STATES THE ERROR WAS COMPLETELY ON PP&L'S PART.
C-20016118 Closed 9/7/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES PPL TOLD THEM THEY COULD NOT PUT ELECTRIC POLE WHERE THEY WANTED IT BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE TO ANCHOR A GUIDE WIRE ON A POLE ACROSS ROUTE 54 ON RAILROAD PROPERTY. THEY SIGNED A CHANGE ORDER, AND SINCE THEN THEY FOUND OUT IT WASN'T RAILROAD PROPERTY AS THEY THOUGHT. THEY WANT THE PUC TO TELL PPL TO REFUND US THEIR MONEY PAID TO HAVE POLE MOVED.
C-20016113 Closed 9/5/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES SHE WOULD LIKE THE PUC TO INVESTIGATE HER ELECTRIC BILL PAYMENTS. SHE WENT FOR HELP CALLED THE ON-TRACK PROGRAM AND SHE DID NOT QUALIFY BY A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS. THEY HAVE NOW SET HER UP ON A BUDGET PAYMENT THAT SHE KNOWS THAT SHE WON'T BE ABLE TO DO. SHE WANTS THE PUC TO HELP IN REDUCING THE MONTHLY BUDGET PRICE, OR TO HELP IN SOME WAY TO ELIMINA- TE FUTURE PROBLEMS.
C-20016099 Closed 8/31/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT SINCE SEPTEMBER 1998, PPL HAS MADE A VARIETY OF BILL- ING ERRORS TO HIS ACCOUNT. HE TRIED TO NO AVAIL TO GET THE METER CHECKED, AND HIS LARGE BILLS INCREASED UNTIL HE STOPPED RECEIVING BILLS. WHEN HE INQ- UIRED ABOUT THIS, HE WAS TOLD THAT HIS BALANCE WAS ZERO. HE WAS THEN SENT A BILL OF $864.26. HE WANTS THE PUC TO INVESTIGATE HIS COMPLAINT, MAKE PPL STRAIGHTEN OUT THEIR COMPUTER GLITCHES, AND MAKE THEM CREDIT HIS ACCOUNT.
C-20016096 Closed 8/30/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES THE PROPERTY IN QUESTION IS A RENTAL. BILLING WAS IN HIS NAME (LANDLORD), TENANTS TOOK POSSESSION OF PROPERTY. HE CALLED AND NOTIFIED PPL THAT TENANTS NOW OCCUPY PROPERTY AND THAT HE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM BILL- ING AND THAT TENANT WOULD CALL TO ARRANGE FOR BILLING. THE TENANT HAD NEVER CALLED TO CHANGE BILLING, PPL NEVER CHANGED HIS NAME FROM BILL AND NEVER FOLLOWED UP WITH UNPAID BILLS OR UNDELIVERABLE MAIL. PPL HOLDS HIM RESPONSI- BLE AFTER ACCOUNT WAS OPEN AND UNPAID FOR A PERIOD WELL IN EXCESS OF 18 MONT- HS. HE FEELS THAT PPL SHOULD HAVE THE BURDEN OF FOLLOW-UP AND COLLECTION W/ TENANTS.
C-20016092 Closed 8/30/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES COMPLAINT IS THE EXCESSIVE CHARGES FOR ELECTRICITY USAGE FOR THE DEC. - JAN. BILL. SHE WANTS THE PUC TO MAKE PPL PROVE THE ACCURACY OF THEIR READINGS, MAKE THEM LOWER THE BILLS FOR ESTIMATED READINGS, AND MAKE THEM DEVISE A WAY TO VERIFY THAT READINGS WERE TAKEN AND THAT THEY WERE ACCURATE.
