Complainant wants PECO to explain deposit fees still being charged, and a reasonable budget payment plan.
C-20030219 Closed 4/22/2003 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT IN 1970 WHEN HE CONTRACTED WITH PECO, HE WAS TOLD HIS ELECTRIC BILLS WOULD BE LOWER. HOWEVER, HE FOUND HIS BILLS HAVE BEEN HIGHER THAN HIS NEIGHBORS. HE WANTS AN INVESTIGATION AND A REFUND.
C-20055052 Closed 8/10/2005 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT IN APRIL HE EXPERIENCED A PARTIAL BLACKOUT AT THEIR HOME. COMPLAINANT STATES PECO'S TECHNICIAN REPORTED THAT THE GROUND HAD SET- TLED CAUSING THE SERVICE ENTRANCE CABLES TO COME LOOSE FROM THE METER BOARD. COMPLAINANT STATES THERE WAS A TEMPORARY BYPASS REPAIR DONE AND HE WAS TOLD THAT HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR. COMPLAINANT STATES THIS WAS VERY EX- PENSIVE AND THAT HE FEELS THAT PECO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR WIRES UP TO THE CONSUMERS METER.

COMPLAINANT STATES HE DID NOT RECEIVE A BILL FOR 4 MONTHS THEN THEY SHUT OFF HIS GAS. COMPLAINANT STATES THEY WERE SENDING THE BILL TO THE NEW JERSEY ADDRESS.
C-00015652 Closed 6/18/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2001, THEY RECEIVED A BILL AND LETTER FROM PECO CLAIMING CHARGES UNBILLED FROM 1996. THEY HAVE CHECKED THEIR RECORDS AND DISAGREE WITH THE FINDINGS. THEY WENT THROUGH THE INFORMAL PROCESS, AND FOUND THAT THEY SIMPLY TRIED TO SET A PAYMENT PLAN RATHER THAN ADDRESS THE VALIDITY OF THE CLAIM. PECO WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY MORE INFORMA- TION. THEY WANT THE CHARGES REMOVED FROM THEIR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY, THEY WANT PECO TO CORRECT ITS BILLING ERRORS, AND THEY WANT PECO TO CONTINUE THEIR SERVICE UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED.
C-2012-2286036 Closed 1/30/2012 Complainant states that in july 2011 they received a letter saying they have foreign wiring in their basement for two bulbs. Complainant states that the basement is vacant and used only for transporting trash to the alley. Complainant states their tenat agreed to two addendums and he cost was sent to the tenant's bill. Complainant states hey went to City Hall and no one said anything about hte two bulbs. Complainant states that the bill was returned in their name.Complainant states that they want their tenant responsible for their bill. Complainant also states that to be advised incorrectly by PECO is totally wrong.
C-20015918 Closed 7/23/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT IN MARCH 2000, HE AGREED TO GET ELECTRICITY FROM ELECTRIC AMERICA. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER, THEY CALLED HIM BACK AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR HIM, AND TO FORGET ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. SOON AFTER, ELECTRIC AMERICA CHARGES STARTED SHOWING UP ON HIS PECO BILL. HE REF- USED TO PAY THEM AND PECO STARTED THREATENING HIM. HE STATES THAT PECO VIO- LATED HIS RIGHT TO DUE PROCESS BY PAYING THE ELECTRIC AMERICA CHARGES FOR HIM. HE WANTS THE PUC TO MAKE PECO REMOVE THESE CHARGES FROM HIS BALANCE, REMOVE THIS FROM HIS PAYMENT RECORD, AND FORMALLY APOLOGIZE TO HIM.
