C-20015839 Closed 7/5/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT WHEN ONE OF THEIR TENANTS LEFT THEIR PROPERTY IN JUNE 2000, THEY CALLED PECO TO MAINTAIN SERVICE AND HAVE THE ACCOUNT TRANSFERRED TO THEIR NAME. THEY RECEIVED THEIR FIRST BILL FROM PECO IN NOVEMBER 2000, AND FOUND THE BILL TO BE EXTREMELY HIGH. THEY FOUND THAT THE EQUIPMENT ON THE PREMISES WAS LEFT RUNNING AND CAUSED THE EXTRA USAGE. THIS WAS CORRECTED IMMDEIATELY, BUT HAD PECO SENT THEM A MONTHLY BILL THIS EXCESS WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. COMPLAINANT WANTS THE PUC TO MAKE PECO REDUCE THE BILL BY THE EXCEEDED MONTHLY USAGE DUE TO THEIR FAILURE TO PROVIDE A MONTHLY BILL.

C-00971051 Closed 12/10/1997 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT WHEN THEY MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT B1 AT 6806 DITMAN STREET IN NOVEMBER 1994, WHEN THEY SIGNED UP FOR SERVICE THE COMPANY TOLD THEM THAT THE COMPUTER SYSTEM WOULD ONLY ACCEPT AN ADDRESS WITH 1ST, 2ND, OR 3RD FLOOR. COMPLAINANT BELIEVES THAT THEIR ADDRESS WAS INCORRECTLY ENTERED INTO THE COMPUTER BECAUSE WHEN SOMEONE MOVED IN ABOVE THEM, THE PROBLEM WAS DISCOVERED. COMPLAINANT BELIEVES THEY DO NOT OWE THIS BILL DUE TO COMPANY BILLING ERROR.
