BUT THEY WILL NOT TAKE REGUL- AR METER READINGS. HE STATES HE DOESN'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE METER. HE WANTS THE PUC TO HAVE PECO GIVE HIM AN ACCURATE BILL, BASED ON A READING, AND IF THE BILL IS HIGH, HE WANTS PAYMENT TERMS. HE CALLED PECO AND SPOKE TO A YOUNG LADY WHO HAD A VERY, VERY NEGATIVE ATTITUDE AND TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT A MIS- TAKE HAS BEEN MADE IN SHUTTING OFF HIS ELECTRICITY BECAUSE HE HAD MAILED IN A PAYMENT OF $200. THE YOUNG LADY ADVISED HIM THAT HER RECORDS DID NOT INDI- CATE RECEIPT OF PAYMENT AND THAT SHE HAD THE ABILITY TO SHUT HIS ELECTRICITY OFF FOR AS LITTLE AS $25 AND THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY $60 TO HAVE HIS ELECT- RICITY RESTORED. HE WANTS THE PUC TO REPLACE THE $60 TURN ON FEE, $55 FOR THE FOOD THAT WENT BAD.

AS OF JULY 31, HE HAS NO ELECTRICITY, FOR THE MONTH OF JULY HE MAILED TWO PAY- MENTS TO PECO IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $368.58. ON AUGUST 1ST, THEY CLAIMED THEY NEVER RECEIVED HIS CHECK FOR $201.64. HE WANTS THE PUC TO HAVE HIS ELECTRICITY TURNED BACK ON, ALSO REMOVAL OF SECURITY DEPOSIT, REMOVAL OF TURN ON CHARGE. HE ALSO FEELS THAT HE SHOULD GET A LETTER OF APOLOGY FROM PECO.

SHE WANTS AN INVEST- IGATION INTO THE SHUT OFF NOTICES THAT SHE NEVER RECEIVED. ALSO SHE WOULD LIKE A BETTER PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT.

HIS BILL FOR 1/6/00 - 2/8/00 WAS FOR $544.54 THE HIGHEST EVER. THEY WENT TO EUROPE ON 2/8/00 AND RETURNED ON 3/3/00 WHILE GONE THEY HAD 2 - 100 W BULBS ON TIMERS THAT BURNED FIVE HOURS EACH NIGHT. HE STATES THEY WEREN'T HOME FOR 23 DAYS AND STILL RECEIVED A BILL FOR $203.30. HE WANTS THE PUC TO GET HIM A REFUND OF SOME OF HIS MONEY.
C-00004182 Closed 9/11/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES HE IS A 64 YEAR OLD DISABLED MAN WHO HAS BEEN HANDICAPPED SINCE 1977. FOR THIS REASON, HE IS UNABLE TO WORK AND IS ON A FIXED INCOME. HE STATES IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR HIM TO MEET HIS OBLIGATIONS ON TIME. HE RECEIVED A SHUT OFF NOTICE FOR THE AMOUNT OF $103. HE WANTS THE PUC TO INVE- STIGATE HIS COMPLAINT INTO WHY HIS SERVICE WAS SHUT OFF WITHOUT FURTHER NOT- ICE WHICH CAUSED HIM TO PAY MORE MONIES.
