F-2012-2281934 Closed 12/22/2011 Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Qorks read their meter and gave them a bill for $7400. Complainant states that they were told their meter was not accurately transmitting to the truck that drives by to read the meter. Complaintant wants an oppurtunity to speak to a neutral third party after being unfairly treated for the Gas company's equipment working improperly during meter readings. Complainant states that they were offered a 20% reduction in the bill, but decided they would prefer to file a formal complaint.

Complaintant states that gas was shut off in April 2007 for not making payments. Complaintant states that no one touched the box except Philadelphia Gas Works. Complaintant believes that when the gas was turned off damages were caused by Philadelphia gas works. Complaintant would like everything to be resolved.

COmplaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works then makes customer pay iincreased amount for their billing mistake. Complaintant states that their are no guidelines on how to report change in income for CRP customers. Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works should go into more detail explaining how the CRP program works. Complaintant states that hey were receiving unemploymeny benefits but the benefits have expired and did not know they were required to go into the Philadelphia gas works office. Complaintant states its unfare to pay more than gross household income per month.
C-2011-2257395 Closed 8/12/2011 Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works claims that they are in a payment agreement made in 2010, but the complainant denies any such agreement. Complaintant states that they are on a fixed income and do not use much gas.Complaintant would like to enter a payment agreement, and have her past bills reviewed for a payment adjustment to a monthly bill of $25-$50.

Complaintant states that they have complained to Philadelphia Gas Works in person on their high billing.Complaintant states that service has been cut off with payments of $850 plus to be able to have service turned back on. Complaintant wants to have their service cease to be interrupted, and to have the $11,356.49 on the last statement that they do not owe to be wiped off his record.

Complaintant states the amount came from a old account and back balance.Complaintant states that she has had same account and residence for ten years and has no prior accounts with Philadelphia Gas Works. Complaintant wants the over $5000 bill investigated and removed from her acocunt. Complaintant wants the service restored, sinc her service was terminated in August. Complaintant would like to be put on a reasonable payment plan.
C-2011-2267644 Closed 10/6/2011 Complaintant states that she cannot afford the paymnet plan by the PUC. Complaintant states that she is currently helping to raise her daughters son. Complaintant states that her husband was the one who ran up the bill, and he currently does not live with them. Complaintant wants a reasonable payment plan. Complaintant wants to be able to pay current charges and additional amount until balance is paid. Complaintant would like either 5yrs at current charge plus $34.35, or 4yrs and additional $42.94 monthly if possible.

Complaintant would like a payment arrangment that is affordable based on her oincome. Complaintant states with college fees,transportatoin fees, rent and young children that the amount owed $6300 is too high for her to pay without assistance.

Complaintant states that there was a discrepency in the amount PGW gave the title company o $663.30. Complaintant wants PGW to be held responsible for the mistake they made of $663.30

Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works was aware that she lived i na different residence and for awhile did not even live in the same county. Complaintant would like to be re-imbursed for over billing, as well as to void all payments owed to residence that squatter was living, and to fine Philadelphia Gas Works for false claims against Complaintant.

Complainant states that she offered to pay half the $2800, and was not offered assistance. Complainant states that they did not tamper, and was suppose to have a new meter in January, but never received a new meter. Complainant would like to pay half the money.

Complaintant states she was ill and was not present when service was turned on at the residence. Complaintant is only movig into the residence around the end of summer. Complaintant wants reimbursed for the money she was charged for the theft of services.

C-2011-2268004 Closed 10/12/2011 Complaintant states that tenants were evicted on 6/16/2010, and that they did not know that the lien was placed on service needed to be turned off as a result. Complaintant states a second lien was placed on the property in october 2010. Complaintant states that if a lien was placed in June on the property they should have been notified. Complaintant states since the residence was not using gas from June through December service could have been shut off. Complaintant states that the two liens totaled $785.15 and the usage was billed at $923.70 for unoccupied residence. Complaintant states that they are willing to pay for the first klien, but htat it is the companies responsiblity to let owners know when a lien is placed on a property. Complaintant would like refunded for $341.11 for the second lien and for the amount billed for usage when the residence was unoccupied.
F-2011-2267135 Closed 10/4/2011 Complaintant states that the meter was tampered with at the property with no one asa resident. Complaintnat states they evicted prior tenant Lisa Sheppard and that she tampered with the meter. Complaintant states tha the contacted Philadelphia Gas Works and after weeks heard back that he was billed for a year that no one was a resident at 1730 Gillingham Street. Complaintant only wants billed for the amount of a vacant property, and not be punished for his prior tenant tampering with the meter.
C-2011-2276793 Closed 11/21/2011 Complaintant states that their bill is over $3000, and is to expensive to pay. Complaintant would like to be enrolled in CRP. Complaintant is currently unemployed and her boyfriend only brings in $230 a week. Complaintant wants to be re enrolled in CRP, with a reasonable monthly bill in regards to the income being brought home.

Complaintant states that they are on a fixed income and could not receive help that complaintant tried to get. Complaintant states that a handwritten shut off notice note was found on her gate in December 2010.Complaintant had her meter replaced and believes the old meter was giving inaccurate information. Complaintant wants to only pay what she actually owes and have time to make the payments since there was a extended period of time that she did not receive any bills.

Complaintant states that she is being gven 30 days to pa the lien, but she can only afford to pay half. Complaintant wants the PUC to help by taking partial payment with a agreementof $1000.
