C-00003935 Closed 7/20/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES IN JULY OF 1999, RECEIVED A REGULAR BILL AS PART OF THE CRP PROGRAM. HE PAID $69 A MONTH, HIS BALANCE WAS APPROXIMATELY $277.93. IN AUGUST OF 1999 AFTER HIS REGULAR AUTOMATED METER READING HIS BALANCE WAS $4,723.69. HE CALLED AND WENT IN TO THE OFFICE IN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE CORRECTED. THE SEPTEMBER BILL CAME AND HE HAD A BALANCE OF $7,795.02 AND A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT NUMBER. SINCE THEN HE HAS NOT RECEIVED A GAS BILL AT ALL BUT HAS PAID HIS $69 PAYMENT EACH MONTH FOR THE PAST YEAR. THEY PROMISED HIM A BILL BUT AS OF 7/17/00 HE STILL HAS NOT RECEIVED ONE. HE WANTS A DOCUMENT FROM PHILADEPHIA GAS WORKS ITEMIZING HIS PAYMENTS FOR THE LAST YEAR AND TO WHICH ACCOUNT NUMBER THEY HAVE APPLIED THE PAYMENTS. HE ALSO WANTS A CORRECT BILL EVERY MONTH AND ON TIME WITH AN ACCOUNT NUMBER THAT HE KNOWS BELONGS TO HIM AND WITH A BALANCE THAT CORRECTLY REFLECTS HIS STATUS IN THE CRP PROGRAM.
C-00014980 Closed 2/23/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES IN JUNE 2000, HE PAID PGW A TOTAL OF $708.38. HE STATES THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO HIS JUNE BILL. AT APPROXIMATELY THE SAME TIME PGW CHANGED HIS GAS METER IN JULY 2000, HE RECEIVED AN ADJUSTED BILL FOR $3,202. 75. PGW SAID THEY WOULD ADJUST IT BECAUSE THE METER WAS NOT READ FOR YEARS. HE WANTS PGW ADJUST THE BILL AND REMOVE ALL LATE CHARGES.
C-00003807 Closed 6/26/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES IN MAY OF 1995, HE MOVED FROM PHILADELPHIA TO MAINE AND ASKED THAT THE GAS BE TURNED OFF AT 1809 PEMBERTON STREET, PHILADELPHIA. THEY FAILED TO DO THIS AND CONTINUED TO CHARGE HIM FOR SERVICE TO THIS ADDR- ESS AND EVENTUALLY SENT IT TO COLLECTION DESPITE HIS REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THEM. HE WANTS THE INFORMATION ON HIS CREDIT REPORT TO BE FIXED AND THE "DEBT" CANCELLED.
C-20028537 Closed 9/19/2002 COMPLAINANT STATES IN NOVEMBER OF 2001 HER CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR WENT OFF AND SHE CALLED PGW. A TECHNICIAN CAME TO CHECK THE HEATER AND LEFT AFTER 5 MINUTES, TELLING HER HER HEATER WAS DIRTY. SHE HAD IT CLEANED BY A PRIVATE COMPANY 1 MONTH EARLIER. PGW CHARGED HER $50 FOR THIS VISIT. SHE WAS NOT TOLD OF THE FEE IN ADVANCE AND SHE HAS A PARTS AND LABOR PLAN. SHE WANTS THE PUC TO ORDER PGW TO REFUND THE $50 THAT SHE PAID FOR THIS INCIDENT.
Z-00982173 Closed 11/19/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES IN OCTOBER 2000, SHE LEFT HER PROPERTY AT 5843 NEWTOWN AVENUE AFTER THE GAS COMPANY FAILED TO KEEP TWO APPOINTMENTS TO HAVE HER GAS SHUT OFF. SINCE THEN SHE HAS CONTINUED TO RECEIVE BILLS CHARGING HER FOR SERVICE AT A VACANT PROPERTY. THERE IS NO ELECTRIC AT THIS PROPERTY AND SHE FINDS IT IMPOSSIBLE THAT THESE BILLS ARE CORRECT. SHE HAS CALLED AND GONE TO THE GAS COMPANY COUNTLESS TIMES AND HAS RECEIVED MIXED INFORMATION EVERY TIME. SHE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THESE BILLS REMOVED FROM HER NAME AND HAVE THIS RESOLVED.
C-20016119 Closed 9/7/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES IN OCTOBER OF 2000, HIS GAS BILL WAS $800. HE DOESN'T COOK WITH GAS ONLY HEAT AND HOT WATER. HE TURNED HIS HEAT DOWN TO 65 AND LESS DURING THE DAY BECAUSE HE WORKS. HE STATES HE CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY $325 A MONTH. HE WANTS THE PUC TO INVESTIGATE HIS BILL AND TO HAVE A BUDGET HE CAN DEAL WITH.

HIS RENT IS $160, AS YOU CAN SEE HE CAN'T AFFORD THE PROPOSED BUDGET PLAN. HE WOULD LIKE THE BUDGET PLAN REDUCED TO ABOUT $20 - $25 PER MONTH.

SHE WANTS TO KNOW WHY SHE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY CREDIT BALANCE UNTIL AFTER THE PGW'S RATE HIKE, AND IF SHE STILL OR DID OWE THEM ANY MONEY, WHY DIDN'T THEY TAKE THE WHOLE REFUND AND STILL THEY DID NOT.
