HE STATES HE FEELS THAT THE PREVIOUS TENANT WAS USING GAS WITHOUT PGW KNOWLEDGE. HE IS ASKING THE PUC TO REQUEST THAT PGW PRESENT A HARD COPY OF THE READING OF 9/3/99.
F-00912591 Closed 9/28/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES BELIEVES THE USAGE OF GAS RECORDED ON BILL IS INCORRECT. COMPLAINANT LIVES IN A SMALL ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT FROM THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2000 - FEBRUARY 2001, COMPLAINANT GAS USAGE DOUBLED AND TRIPLED AND KEPT ESCALATING EVERY MONTH DRATICALLY. WHEN AN EMPLOYEE OF THE COMPANY CAME TO CHECK OUT THE PROBLEM, HE LOOKED AT THE THERMOSTAT AND WENT DOWNSTAIRS FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN STATED NOTHING WAS WRONG. THE MAN THEN RETURNED TO HIS TRUCK AND SAT FOR 45 MINUTES BEFORE DRIVING OFF. COMPLAINANT THAN LATER REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT HIMSELF. HIS MOTHER HAS HAD A PLAN WITH THE COMPANY FOR YEARS, AND THE ONLY TIME SHE NEEDED TO USE IT, THE EMPLOYEE CAME OUT AND DID NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. COMPLAINANT HAD TO FIX AT HIS OWN EXPENSE. HE WANTS THE COMPANY AND SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY TO KNOW THAT THE MAN WHO CAME OUT TO FIX THE THERMOSTAT, DID NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO FIX IT AND WASTED ALMOST AN HOUR SITTING OUT FRONT OF THEIR HOUSE.
