Complaintant wants balance erased and payment status to be up to date.

Complaintant states that a Technician for PGW came and found a leak coming from the back of the gas meter, which needed repaired as well as the meter needing replaced.Complaintnat states that gas was sshutt off for their dryer and stove to be safe in case gas was leaking from them. Complaintant states gas lines were changed to be careful, and that they received a bill for $12, 169.00. Complaintant states that the meter that was replaced had been set incorrectly, reading only half of the gas usage. Complaintant states that by law PGW could only go back four years. Complaintant states that they received a new bill, which was for $3700 after the old bill was readjusted for the four years, but they still are unsatisfied with the amount. Complaintant states that they have paid the amount owed each bill. Complaintant wants to not pay the bill for the faulty equipment that belonged to PGW.

Complaintant states that drilling was used to create ventilation, but there was no gas readings to see the amount of gas was in the area of drilling.Complaintant states that crew members were not supervised while performing ventilations. Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works failed to contact PECO Energy to shutt off Electric power, so that there would be no ignition possibilities. Complaintant states that personnel also enetered buildings with high levels of gas that was questionable if they had authority to enter the building. Complaintant states that a explosion occured at 6932 Torresdale Avenue and a fire ensued. Complaintant states that injuries happened due to negligence of Philadelphia Gas Works.

Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works said that they prioritize blocks by how which blocks are the worse. Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works started fixing all the pipes and equipment in March 2011. Complaintant would like their bill readjusted considering all the gas leaks at their property, and a payment agreement to pay off the balance that is determined to be owed.
