C-20066326 Closed 5/4/2006 COMPLAINANT STATES AFTER NOT OWEING PGW FOR MONTHS, NOW THEY SAY THEY OWE THEM OVER $19,000. THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE HOW OR AN EXPLANATION ON HOW THE METER WAS TAMPERED WITH AND THEY COULD NOT GIVE THEM ONE. THEY WANT THE PUC TO STRAIGHTEN OUT THE BILL.

SHE WOULD LIKE PUC TO REVIEW HER ACCOUNT DURING PERIOD IN QUESTION-2/2000 - 6/2001. SHE HOPES TO CONCLUDE THAT SHE HAS MORE THAN COMPENSATED FOR HER SHARE OF GAS DURING THAT TIME.

Z-00877233 Closed 3/22/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES AFTER CALLING PHILADELPHIA GAS WORKS ABOUT A $94 GAS BILL DUE 12/6/00. THE FIRST PERSON (DONALD) WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING. HE CALLED AGAIN AND GOT DANIEL. AFTER TWO MORE WEEKS HE RECEIVED A BILL FOR $689.00. HE STATES SINCE THIS OCCURRED IN 1997 BY THE GAS COMPANY EMPLOYEE HE FEELS HE SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED TO HIM.

HE IS ASKING FOR THE COMMISSION ASSISTANCE IN SHUTTING OFF THIS SERVICE, CLOSING HIS ACCOUNT AND OBTAINING AN ACCURATE FINAL BILL BASED ON ACTUAL READING.

C-20055358 Closed 9/26/2005 COMPLAINANT STATES ABOUT 10 MONTHS AGO, HIS MOTHER CALLED THE COMPANY TO CHECK HER HEATING SYSTEM. THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO BE WITH THE THERMOSTAT. HIS MOTHER HAS HAD A SERVICE PLAN WITH THE COMPANY FOR YEARS. WHEN AN EMPLOYEE OF THE COMPANY CAME TO CHECK OUT THE PROBLEM, HE LOOKED AT THE THERMOSTAT AND WENT DOWNSTAIRS FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN STATED NOTHING WAS WRONG. THE MAN THEN RETURNED TO HIS TRUCK AND SAT FOR 45 MINUTES BEFORE DRIVING OFF. COMPLAINANT THAN LATER REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT HIMSELF. HIS MOTHER HAS HAD A PLAN WITH THE COMPANY FOR YEARS, AND THE ONLY TIME SHE NEEDED TO USE IT, THE EMPLOYEE CAME OUT AND DID NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. COMPLAINANT HAD TO FIX AT HIS OWN EXPENSE. HE WANTS THE COMPANY AND SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY TO KNOW THAT THE MAN WHO CAME OUT TO FIX THE THERMOSTAT, DID NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO FIX IT AND WASTED ALMOST AN HOUR SITTING OUT FRONT OF THEIR HOUSE.
C-20016635 Closed 12/19/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES A TENANT RENTING ON E OF HIS PROPERTIES INCURRED A LARGE DELINQUENT GAS BILL. A LIEN WAS THEN PUT AGAINST THIS PROPERTY, BUT NO ONE EVER NOTIFIED THE COMPLAINANT. COMPLAINANT FEELS THE COMPANY SHOULD HAVE NOTIFIED HIM SO HE COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO PREVENT THE LIEN BEING PLACED ON HIS PROPERTY. HE WOULD LIKE THE COMPANY TO REFUND THE MONEY LOST DUE TO THE LIEN.
