Complaintnat staates that they are willing to pay for service during the time of her lease, but not for services provided when not living at the address. Complaintant would like any charge prior to 2/1/2010 and after 9/30/08 removed.
C-2011-2272098 Closed 10/28/2011 Complaintant states that they were told they could not receive a payment plan unless the PUC orders it or they pay $3000. Complaintant states that the bill is because of two prior addresses.Complaintant states that the one bill was at her daughter's residence, but because her daughter never changed the bill to her name. Complaintant states the other address had a broken meter the landlord never fixed. Complaintant wants the PUC to order the gas company to restore her service and to set up a reasonable payment agreement.
F-2011-2266527 Closed 10/3/2011 Complaintant states that they were on a payment plan of $90 a month, but wit hincrease in rent and being laid off they cannot afford $90 a month. Complaintant states hat PUC made the bill $190 a month which the complaintant cannot pay. Complaintant wants a pament plan they can afford, but at the same time be able to pay rent, buy food and other necessities needed to survive.
F-2011-2279560 Closed 12/20/2011 Complaintant states that they were chargd $2764.25, and had that lowered to $81.64 after meter was determined to be running to fast. Complaintant states that PUC found Philadelphia Gas Works failure to verify meter reading that customer was not able to manage gas consumption and Philadelphia Gas works had to adjust bill to $536.52. Complaintant would like all charges dismissed due t ofaulty meter.
F-2011-2279131 Closed 12/5/2011 Complaintant states that they want to know how Philadelphia Gas Works has charged them $5447.67 over 48 months, and calculate the difference in amount that complainant was suppose to pay each month. Complaintant states that in MAY 2011, there was a new meter installed and their bill was lowered from $5447.67 to $1308.88. Complaintant states that if Philadelphia Gas Works looks at the bill over the last four years that complaintant does not owe anything. Complaintant wants the amount $1308.88 removed from account., and have termination notice withdrawn.
F-2011-2267974 Closed 10/11/2011 Complaintant states that they started service in July 2010. Complaintant states that they received a bill for $846.77, when normally the bill was about $20 a month and Philadelphia Gas Works sht off their gas in May 2011. Complaintant states tha they requested records from previous tenants to compare bills for consistency in amount of bill. Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works technician checked the meter and said it was old and needed replaced. Complaintant states technician took the meter back and said Philadelphia Gas Works would contact them. Complaintant states that they contacted Philadelphia Gas Works after not hearing back, and got a meter ID #, but have not heard back yet after the meter was exchanged 6/13/2011. Complaintant states that they did not receive a shut off notice and after te hgas was already shut off received a letter with options in a neighbor's mailbox instead of their mailbox. Complaintant states that the technician that took the meter caused extensive damage that needed repaired. Complaintant would like their meter to finally be tested, and the bill to be corrected to reflect incorrect readings from November 2010 to March 2010.

F-2011-2278030 Closed 11/29/2011 Complaintant states that they have paid their bill each month, but has received a bill for $4602.87. Complaintant wants the amount of $4602.87 to be deleted from their account for being an incorrect charge.
C-2011-2279259 Closed 12/6/2011 Complaintant states that they had the water department change a battery on their water meter when a strong odor of gas was detected in their basement. Complaintant states that a Technician for PGW came and found a leak coming from the back of the gas meter, which needed repaired as well as the meter needing replaced.Complaintnat states that gas was sshutt off for their dryer and stove to be safe in case gas was leaking from them. Complaintant states gas lines were changed to be careful, and that they received a bill for $12, 169.00. Complaintant states that the meter that was replaced had been set incorrectly, reading only half of the gas usage. Complaintant states that by law PGW could only go back four years. Complaintant states that they received a new bill, which was for $3700 after the old bill was readjusted for the four years, but they still are unsatisfied with the amount. Complaintant states that they have paid the amount owed each bill. Complaintant wants to not pay the bill for the faulty equipment that belonged to PGW.

Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas works put lien on their property for $16,694.00. Complaintant does not understand how someone can consume that amount of gas without having service shut off. Complaintan tstates that they are not responsible for a delinquent tenant's bill.Complaintant wants the lien removed from her property at 2013 Stenton Avenue.
C-2012-2281556 Closed 12/27/2011 Complaintant states that they had a tenant that accumulated a bill over $12,000. Complaintant states that insurance company indicated charges on account, and Philadelphia Gas Works stated that they were not in the Landlord Cooperation Program. Complaintan states that the debt belongs to the tenant not them, and that the tenant should be the person liable to pay.

Complaintant states that a handwritten shut off notice note was found on her gate in December 2010.Complaintant had her meter replaced and believes the old meter was giving inaccurate information. Complaintant wants to only pay what she actually owes and have time to make the payments since there was a extended period of time that she did not receive any bills.

Complaintnat states they evicted prior tenant Lisa Sheppard and that she tampered with the meter. Complaintant states tha the contacted Philadelphia Gas Works and after weeks heard back that he was billed for a year that no one was a resident at 1730 Gillingham Street. Complaintant only wants billed for the amount of a vacant property, and not be punished for his prior tenant tampering with the meter.
C-2011-2268004 Closed 10/12/2011 Complaintant states that tenants were evicted on 6/16/2010, and that they did not know that the lien was placed on service needed to be turned off as a result. Complaintant states a second lien was placed on the property in october 2010. Complaintant states that if a lien was placed in June on the property they should have been notified. Complaintant states since the residence was not using gas from June through December service could have been shut off. Complaintant states that the two liens totaled $785.15 and the usage was billed at $923.70 for unoccupied residence. Complaintant states that they are willing to pay for the first klien, but htat it is the companies responsiblity to let owners know when a lien is placed on a property. Complaintant would like refunded for $341.11 for the second lien and for the amount billed for usage when the residence was unoccupied.
