SHE WANTS THE PUC TO SHOW THAT PGW CAN PROVIDE CORRECT AND SUBSTANTIAL DOCUMENTATION TO WARRANT PAYMENT OF THIS DISPUTED BILL.

SHE WANTS THE PUC TO ADJUST HER CURRENT BILL AND DEDUCT $165 FROM SEASON SHE DID NOT RECEIVE ADEQUATE HEAT.

HE WAS COMPLE- TELY OUTRAGED WHEN ANOTHER PGW BILL ARRIVED 40 DAYS LATER FOR $4,264.67. THIS SAME INVOICE #36365101243 ALSO HAS DUPLICATE COST OF SERVICE USED CHARGE THAT DON'T AGREE. PRIOR TO THIS INVOICE, HE CONSISTENTLY PAID WHAT PGW BILLED HIM. ON 1/20/01, HE AGREED TO PAY $58 FOR 36 MONTHS TO PAY OFF PGW'S UNDER CHARGING. HE WANTS THE PUC TO HELP HIM GET THE $1,931 CHARGE REMOVED FROM HIS INVOICE.
F-00906603 Closed 4/23/2003 COMPLAINANT STATES THAT PGW RESTORED SERVICE AFTER A VALID REQUEST TO DIS- CONTINUE, AND RECONNECTED WITHOUT PROPER VERIFICATION OF THAT REQUEST. F-00900534 Closed 4/26/2001 COMPLAINANT STATES COMPLAINT IS IN REFERENCE TO PHILADELPHIA GAS WORKS DECIS- ION TO BILL THEM FOR THEIR FAILURE TO SEND CORRECT METER READINGS FROM SEPTE- MBER 1999 THROUGH JANUARY 2001. THEY MOVED TO THEIR APARTMENT IN SEPTEMBER 1999. A NEW GAS METER, CALLED AN AMR, WAS INSTALLED AT THAT TIME. THE AMR IS IN A BASEMENT, WHICH, UNTIL FEBRUARY 2001 THEY COULD NOT ACCESS, WITHOUT CONTACTING THEIR LANDLORD. IN FEBRUARY 2001 THEY RECEIVED A BILL INDICATING A BALANCE OF $1,886.32 WAS DUE. THEY ARE DISPUTING THE BILL BECAUSE PGW HAS A RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN AN ACCURATE METER READING ONCE A MONTH, NOT ONCE A YEAR. THEY WANT THE PUC TO TELL PGW ASIA SMITH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF THIS BILL DUE TO THEIR OVERSIGHT AND MALFUNCTIONING EQUIPMENT, AND INSTRUCT THEM TO REMOVE THIS CHARGE FROM HER ACCOUNT AND CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SERVICE AT THE CURRENT MONTHLY RATE.
