SHE WANTS PHILADELPHIA GAS WORKS TO BE ORDERED TO SHUT OFF GAS SERVICE AT HER FORMER RESIDENCE AT 716 SANSOM STREET, # 2 FR IN PHILADELPHIA AND SEND HER AN ACTUAL BILL, NOT ESTIMATED.
C-00004040 Closed 8/14/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES WAS LIVING AT 609 STRAHLE STREET, PHILADELPHIA PA 19111 UNTIL 8/24/99, THEN SOLD THE HOUSE ON 8/24/99 AND PAID FINAL BILL UP TO 8/27/ 99. EVEN THOUGH, PAID UP TO 8/27/99 AND MOVED OUT OF THE HOUSE, PGW IS STILL SENDING BILL FOR SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER OF 1999. COMPLAINANT WROTE TO PGW SEVERAL TIMES BUT NOTHING IS RESOLVED. COMPLAINANT WANTS THE PUC TO CONTACT PGW AND RESOLVE THIS ISSUE ABOUT THE GAS BILL, WHICH THEY FEEL THAT THEY DO NOT OWE.

C-00003970 Closed 7/27/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES RECENTLY MOVED AND ASKED TO HAVE THE GAS TURNED ON IN HER NAME. IT TOOK THREE ATTEMPTS BEFORE BEING COMPLETED. DURING THAT TIME THE GAS WAS SHUT OFF LEAVING HER THREE YEAR OLD SON AND HER WITHOUT HOT WATER OR GAS TO COOK THEIR FOOD. IT TOOK FIVE DAYS BEFORE SOMEONE CAME TO HER HOUSE. SHE WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD BE THERE BETWEEN 8 AM - 4 PM, NO ONE ARRIVED UNTIL 8:15 P.M.. SHE STATES THAT SHE IS A SINGLE PARENT WHO LOST A DAY OF PAY DUE TO THIS. SHE WANTS THEM TO IMPLEMENT A SYSTEM WHEN A MORE SPECIFIC TIME FRAME IS GIVEN TO THE CONSUMER. AND SHE WANTS PHILADELPHIA GAS WORKS TO COMPENSATE HER FOR LOST WAGES DUE TO THEIR MISMANAGEMENT AND UNORGANIZATION.
C-00003935 Closed 7/20/2000 COMPLAINANT STATES IN JULY OF 1999, RECEIVED A REGULAR BILL AS PART OF THE CRP PROGRAM. HE PAID $69 A MONTH, HIS BALANCE WAS APPROXIMATELY $277.93. IN AUGUST OF 1999 AFTER HIS REGULAR AUTOMATED METER READING HIS BALANCE WAS $4,723.69. HE CALLED AND WENT IN TO THE OFFICE IN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE CORRECTED. THE SEPTEMBER BILL CAME AND HE HAD A BALANCE OF $7,795.02 AND A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT NUMBER. SINCE THEN HE HAS NOT RECEIVED A GAS BILL AT ALL BUT HAS PAID HIS $69 PAYMENT EACH MONTH FOR THE PAST YEAR. THEY PROMISED HIM A BILL BUT AS OF 7/17/00 HE STILL HAS NOT RECEIVED ONE. HE WANTS A DOCUMENT FROM PHILADEPHIA GAS WORKS ITEMIZING HIS PAYMENTS FOR THE LAST YEAR AND TO WHICH ACCOUNT NUMBER THEY HAVE APPLIED THE PAYMENTS. HE ALSO WANTS A CORRECT BILL EVERY MONTH AND ON TIME WITH AN ACCOUNT NUMBER THAT HE KNOWS BELONGS TO HIM AND WITH A BALANCE THAT CORRECTLY REFLECTS HIS STATUS IN THE CRP PROGRAM.

SHE WAS TO BE CONTACT- ED AT HER HOME BY A TECHNICIAN TO LET HER KNOW THAT HE/SHE IS AT HER MOTHER'S PROPERTY AND SHE WAS TO MEET THEM THERE TO. SHE STATES SINCE SETTLEMENT OF THE PROPERTY TOOK PLACE ON FRIDAY, 6/30/00 SHE EXPECTS THE PUC TO CONTACT PGW WITH THIS STORY, SO SHE WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY BILLS FOR USAGE @ 6161 REEDLAND STREET, PHILADELPHIA PA 19142 OF WHICH THIS IS NOT HER PROPERTY ANY LONGER. SHE STATES SHE REFUSES TO PAY FOR THE INCOMPETENCE OF PGW WORKERS.

SHE WANTS PHILADELPHIA GAS WORKS TO REFUND MONEY THAT THEY OWE HER EFFECTIVE 12/28/99, SEND HER A CLOSING INVOICE PROPERLY STATING THE DATES OF SERVICE TERMINATION AND THE PROPER AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT THEY OWE HER, AND TO CORRECT HER ADDRESS IN THEIR RECORDS AND SEND THE ABOVE ITEMS TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS.
