Complaintant states that they received a bill for $846.77, when normally the bill was about $20 a month and Philadelphia Gas Works sht off their gas in May 2011. Complaintant states tha they requested records from previous tenants to compare bills for consistency in amount of bill. Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works technician checked the meter and said it was old and needed replaced. Complaintant states technician took the meter back and said Philadelphia Gas Works would contact them. Complaintant states that they contacted Philadelphia Gas Works after not hearing back, and got a meter ID #, but have not heard back yet after the meter was exchanged 6/13/2011. Complaintant states that they did not receive a shut off notice and after te hgas was already shut off received a letter with options in a neighbor's mailbox instead of their mailbox. Complaintant states that the technician that took the meter caused extensive damage that needed repaired. Complaintant would like their meter to finally be tested, and the bill to be corrected to reflect incorrect readings from November 2010 to March 2010.

COmplaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works then makes customer pay iincreased amount for their billing mistake. Complaintant states that their are no guidelines on how to report change in income for CRP customers. Complaintant states that Philadelphia Gas Works should go into more detail explaining how the CRP program works. Complaintant states that hey were receiving unemploymeny benefits but the benefits have expired and did not know they were required to go into the Philadelphia gas works office. Complaintant states its unfare to pay more than gross household income per month.

Complaintnat states they evicted prior tenant Lisa Sheppard and that she tampered with the meter. Complaintant states tha the contacted Philadelphia Gas Works and after weeks heard back that he was billed for a year that no one was a resident at 1730 Gillingham Street. Complaintant only wants billed for the amount of a vacant property, and not be punished for his prior tenant tampering with the meter.

Complaintant states hat PUC made the bill $190 a month which the complaintant cannot pay. Complaintant wants a pament plan they can afford, but at the same time be able to pay rent, buy food and other necessities needed to survive.

Complaintant wants to only pay what she actually owes and have time to make the payments since there was a extended period of time that she did not receive any bills.

Complaintant wants the PUC to order Philadelphia Gas works to allow for a payment plan, where complaintant will pay budget plus additional $50 to balance is paid in full.

Complaintant states that after presenting the document that Philadelphia Gas Works denied the document. Complaintant states that the previous tenant admitted the bill was on their account. Complaintant would like to know how both she and the previous tenant were charged for the same service time. Complaintnat staates that they are willing to pay for service during the time of her lease, but not for services provided when not living at the address. Complaintant would like any charge prior to 2/1/2010 and after 9/30/08 removed.
