| Case Description | Complainant, Adria Barbano, spoke to COE & then the Pittsburgh Office regarding her household goods move from Bath, PA to Cheswick, PA. The carrier, Mubers Moving Corp., has no PUC Authority & was holding her goods until she paid more money to the carrier. In essence, holding her goods hostage, until additional compensation was paid. On several occasions, enforcement staff waited for this carrier to deliver her goods. Finally, on July 26, 2018, the delivery was made in Cheswick, PA (Allegheny Co). Cheswick Police & EO's Balestra & Rosenberger were present & completed a MCSAP inspection & DVIR on the move. Attached is multiple documents regarding this case. Citations were issued by both police & the PUC. | ||
