| Case Description | On Sunday, November 1st, Parkside Utility Construction made an Emergency One Call to replace a utility pole. The emergency one call was received by NFG at 9:28 pm and they marked out their facilities at 10:22 pm. Parkside Utility damaged NFG's medium pressure main at approximately 12:30 am on Monday, November 2nd. The main was 2-inch plastic with a MAOP of 48 psig. The operating pressure at the time of the damage was 27 psig. Gas migrated into the basement of a nearby apartment building, where a fire broke out, at approximately 1:30 am. The building had 4 units and the residents were evacuated. The address of the apartment building was 1202 Brown Avenue. There were no fatalities or injuries. The fire department was on site and the fire was contained quickly. | ||
