Secretarial Letter Act 120 Working Group Meeting Notice Update & Agenda - Secretarial Letter served December 3, 2019 at Docket No. M-2019-3013286.
A stakeholder meeting was held on December 19, 2019 in Hearing Room 1 on the Second Floor of the Commonwealth Keystone Building at 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120 to address the responses received to the directed questions, including additional issues or concerns raised in comments.
The purpose of the Working Group is to solicit additional information and stakeholder input on how the Commission may develop uniform procedures to address customer-owned lead water service line and damaged wastewater lateral replacement issues facing regulated utilities.
After the conclusion of the Working Group Meeting, parties may submit reply comments and/or additional comments for consideration by the Commission and Working Group stakeholders. The Commission requests that all such comments be submitted to the Commission by January 16, 2020. Responses should include a cover letter identifying the party providing the comment(s) and should reference Docket No. M-2019-3013286. Implementation of Act 120 of 2018 Working Group - Secretarial Letter served October 24, 2019 at Docket No. M-2019-3013286.
On October 3, 2019, the Commission adopted the Implementation of Act 120 of 2018 Joint Motion of Chairman Gladys Brown Dutrieuille and Commissioner John F. Coleman, Jr. In the Joint Motion, the Commission directed the Bureaus of Technical Utility Services and Law to convene a working group and solicit responses to directed questions “to gather information and stakeholder input on how the Commission may develop uniform procedures to address customer-owned lead water service line (LSL) and damaged wastewater lateral (DWWL) replacement issues facing regulated utilities.”
