Order - The Commission adopted an Order at the November 10, 2005 Public Meeting that reopened the comment period for the default service rulemaking. Roundtable Meetings
The PUC has announced dates for a series of roundtable meetings to discuss the obligations of electric distribution companies (EDCs) to provide provider of last resort (POLR) service to customers who do not choose an alternative supplier. The meetings will be open to the public.

Notice of POLR Roundtable
The PUC will hold Provider of Last Resort (POLR) Roundtable meetings. Interested parties need to notify the Secretary's Bureau by March 11, 2004. Docket No. M-00041792. Secretarial Letter dated March 5, 2004.
Provider of Last Resort (POLR) Letter
Commission Staff is announcing that the Working Group will be reconvened on March 25, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. to begin developing rules that define the duties and rights of providers of last resort service in the electric industry. The meeting will include a discussion of how to define prevailing market prices and provide for the full recovery of reasonable costs by providers of last resort.
